The Science Leadership Fellows Program started with a great kickoff in February. The new cohort is a talented group of individuals who are ready to take the leadership wheel. In April, they attended their first NCSLA meeting as Fellows.  Fellow Melaine Rickard was a speaker in the Spring meeting’s roundtable discussion. All Fellows were guests at the SMT dinner held later that night.

Fellows are looking forward to an eventful Fall. At the end of September, the Fellows will meet again. The topic of the meeting is personalities in leadership. Fellows will attend the North Carolina Science Teachers Association Conference. They will assist NCSTA by volunteering as session facilitators. If you would like more information on the Fellows program, stop by the NCSLA Fellows Booth at the NCSTA conference.
