camstBurroughs Wellcome Fund Accepting Applications for Career Awards for Science and Math Teachers

The Career Awards for Science and Math Teachers (CASMT) is an effort to recognize North Carolina public school K-12 STEM teachers who have a minimum of five years of teaching experience. Under the Science Education grant program at the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, this award recognizes North Carolina’s outstanding teachers through a competitive application process, and if selected as an Awardee, provides $175,000 over five years. 

CASMT Awardees Andi Webb, current NCSLA Fellow, and Michelle Ellis, NCSLA Fellow Alumna, participated in a Twitter chat on August 2, 2018 to bring more awareness to the opportunity and offer insight to their experience.
