Spring 2003 NCSLA MeetingThe fall membership meetingwas held Thursday, April 26, 2003 at the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill. A reception, sponsored by Holt, Rinehart and Winston was given followed by the Dinner and Business meeting. Mike Jackson awarded the Distinguished Service Award, sponsored by Fisher, to Vallie Guthie. John Penick, President-Elect of NSTA, spoke on "Politics, Science and Education."
