NSELA Opportunities

NSELA catalyzes leadership to maximize effective science teaching and learning in a complex and changing environment. Join the leadership organization and contribute to a diverse network of emerging and experienced leaders. We are seeking educators and researchers who value high-quality professional development, a collegial network, access to research, science educational resources, and advocacy.

If you are looking for opportunities to share your expertise in science education, grow as a professional in the field of science education, and connect with leaders across the United States, do consider the following:

The 2018 Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) will be held in Philadelphia Marriott from Monday, July 9, through Wednesday, July 11, 2018. The focus of the institute are the following five facets of science leadership: 1) Science for All Students, 2) Collaboration with CTE, 3) Connections with 4) Mathematics, Computer Science and Computational Thinking, and 5) NextGen TIME. The year’s SLI is will be held in conjunction with NSTA’s 7th Annual STEM Forum & Expo, July 11-13 in Philadelphia. To learn more review the SLI Schedule and register for the 2018 NSELA Leadership Institute. If you are already a member of NSELA and have not had an opportunity to link up with professionals in the organization. You should consider one of the following science leadership service opportunities:

Join a Committee
